THE DISTILLERY
The Glentauchers Distillery Company was founded in 1899 by James Buchanan and Mr. Lowrie, a well-known Blended Whiskey businessman.
It is located in Scotland on the Tauchen farm, through which a small river passes, the Rosarie Burn, which provides the farm with excellent water.
It currently belongs to the Diageo drinks group, and produces whiskey that is used as a blend for Black & White and Ballantines whiskeys, keeping a highly selected part for sale as single malt, under the name of Buchanans.
