The Monte Real Reserva Wine from the town of Cenicero near the border with Alava, in La Rioja , is made with 100 Tempranillo grapes, aged for up to 30 months in American oak barrels. It is a classic wine that combines class with new technologies in terms of fermentation controls and maceration process.
Intense cherry red color with brick tones. Powerful and clean aroma in harmony with cedar oak, fruity aniseed with hints of balsamic In the mouth, enveloping and sweet with a sweet and balanced point of sweet tannins with a long and forceful finish.

THE CELLAR
Bodegas Riojanas was founded in 1890 by the Artacho and Carreras families, it is currently run by its fifth generation and is one of the 13 oldest wineries in La Rioja , but it is only 10 years later when they officially begin to produce their wines. thus obtaining his first international prize, the Grand Prix of Honor of Argentina. Its main characteristic is to follow the standards of origin in the elaboration of the wines, counting for this with a great team of oenologists belonging to the family that founded it.
Although it operates in the upper part of La Rioja, it also has other production points such as DO Toro , DO Ribera del Duero , DORías Baixas , Cava and DO Rueda , thus being able to extend to a greater number of people, thus having more than 200 hectares of its own, as well as grapes from 600 hectares controlled by it.
Its best vineyards are in the area of Cenicero and San Vicente de la Sonsierra, where the Tempranillo grape variety is grown, as well as a great variety of Mazuelo and Graciano .
