The Pineau des Charentes is a renowned fortified wine made from the combination of grape must and Cognac.
Each bottle is adorned with a fleur-de-lys design, a symbol of French royalty, and the label bears illustrations, in the style of 16th-century botanists.
Golden colour. Floral aromas, balanced with spicy tones and a mixture of liquor and aniseed touches. dried herbs like rosemary, sage, and lavender, especially. Some notes of butter and a hint of sweetness from the grape. On the palate Fresh and complex, floral and citrus tones are perceived that accompany a tasty finish contributed by the Pineau. stands out with its powerful herbaceous notes.
