Origin: Charente (France)
Made with a selection of 28 plants and spices along with a blend of white and red Pineau des Charentes wines.
The red Pineau is made with red grapes: Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and cognac.
Each bottle is adorned with a fleur-de-lys design, a symbol of French royalty, and the label bears illustrations, in the style of 16th-century botanists.
Color: Dark red with golden edges; intensely bright.
Balanced and powerful aromas, with liquorous tones, plum and vanilla tones and notes of chocolate.
On the palate it is tasty and intense; in the aftertaste there are tones of caramel, burnt vanilla and warm spices, which lengthen its persistence.
