La distillation se fait très lentement grâce à la vapeur dégagée par un vieil alambic en cuivre.
Robe cristalline et lumineuse. Arômes de menthe douce, pomme, genévrier, coriandre avec des notes d'anis, de zeste de citron et d'orange et d'herbes aromatiques. En bouche, il est riche et onctueux avec des notes légèrement agrumes et terreuses.

LA DISTILLERIE
La distillerie Bruichladdich est située sur l'île d'Islay, une région écossaise caractéristique pour la production de whiskies. C'est la distillerie la plus à l'ouest d'Ecosse depuis de nombreuses années.
Elle a été fermée pendant plusieurs années jusqu'à ce qu'en 2000 elle soit rachetée et restaurée par Murray McDavid qui, avec son ami Jim McEwan, a réussi à faire revivre la distillerie et à promouvoir ses différentes marques.
Aujourd'hui, il est devenu la propriété de la société française de spiritueux Rémy Cointreau.
