Matured for a minimum of nine years in white oak barrels to subsequently continue aging in barrels that have contained American bourbon and the other part is transferred to 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso barrels.
Complex, yet balanced, The Dalmore 12- year-old is the hallmark of the Dalmore house style.

Aromas of sherry barrels, nuts, raisins, cherries, caramel and spices, sweet citrus, coffee and cocoa aromas.
Creamy and thick on the palate, notes of sweet orange, nuts, nutmeg, brown caramel and chocolate.

THE DISTILLERY
Dalmore is a distillery located in the town of Alnnes (Scotland).
It was founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson, a merchant who made his fortune importing illegal opium from the Far East.
In 1886, the distillery was purchased by the MacKenzie family.
Its so emblematic 12-pointed deer was granted as gratitude by King Alexander III, to whom an ancestor of this family, except for said king of a deer that attacked him during one of his hunts. This in reward I authorize you to wear this emblem on your coat of arms.
