THE DISTILLERY
At the end of the 19th century, prominent British official positions were assigned to the main commercial seaport of the Orient, the strategic coastal city of Mombasa, where they founded in 1885 the first private social club, from which it takes its name, VIP people of the time. The mythical Mombasa Club, which achieved great fame and popularity as a warm and idyllic meeting and recreation point, where its members held lively gatherings and exchanged news accompanied by their Gin & Tonic.
From London it was distilled for export to Zanzibar for this select Club.
Today, this gin is made using carefully selected aromatic herbs and plants to recreate its exclusive recipe and bring back to life its authentic original taste.
