THE DISTILLERY
Bruichladdich Distillery, is located on the island of Islay, a Scottish region characteristic for the production of whiskeys. It has been the most westerly distillery in Scotland for many years.
It was closed for several years until in 2000 it was bought and restored by Murray McDavid who, together with his friend Jim McEwan, managed to revive the distillery and promote its different brands.
Today it has become the property of the French spirits company Rémy Cointreau.
