Vizcaya Cask 12 rum is made using a traditional method called "Agricole". The main difference is that the Vizcaya 12 is made from the juice of the sugarcane plant. Similar to a cachaca from Brazil and It is aged in ex-bourbon barrels for 6 years.
Amber color with golden sparkles. Aromas of cocoa, maple, mahogany, fruit and pastries. On the palate Complex and rich, with notes of vanilla, dark chocolate and oak. Compared to the Super Premium Vizcaya VXOP 21 Year Rum , it seems a bit lighter, but powerful and well structured.
