Gruut Wit beer is highly aromatic with a fragrant fruity smell and slightly grassy acidity. The body is light, but soft. Thanks to the spices, the flavors are "round", very fine and complex. The first impression is a spicy dryness, but there is also a mild, creamy sweetness underlying it.
Gruut Wit is a gruit or gruyt beer recommended for those with uric acid beer since it does not contain purines since it does not contain hops. On the contrary, the rest of beers, even non-alcoholic beers, contain hops and, therefore, purines.
Gruut Wit unhopped beer is the mildest of all unhopped Gruut beers and the one with the lowest alcohol content.
