Origin: France
The Yellow Chartreuse liqueur is made with the same plants and the same technique as the Green Chartreuse, but in different proportions and with a lower alcohol content.
Only two Carthusian Brothers know what the 130 plants are and know how to mix and distill them.
They are also the only ones who know which plants to use to give this natural yellow colour, who control the slow aging of the liquor and decide when it can be bottled.
