THE CELLAR
Kilbeggan Distillery is the oldest licensed distillery in Ireland, retaining its license to distill whiskey on the same site and in the same 260 year old buildings.
It is situated on the banks of the Brosna River, with excellent access to the three natural ingredients necessary for whiskey distillation - water, grains and natural yeasts. In fact, they still use the water from the Brosna River to make the whiskey.
