DO: Catalonia
The Estraperlo Red Wine is produced by the Apat i Vins Winery (Cardedeu), from Tempranillo and Merlot grapes. The fermentation process of the must in each variety comes into contact with the skins at a temperature of 24ºC for a period of 10 days. After this maceration, a good tannic structure is extracted, as well as a good color and all of this allows us to preserve the own personality of a Tempranillo and a Merlot.
It has an intense ruby color, an aroma of ripe fruits such as raspberry and redcurrant and its flavor is broad and persistent with hints of fruit and spices, leaving a long finish with good acidity.
