KI NO BI Gin is inspired by tradition and is distilled, mixed and bottled in Kyoto following a completely handmade process .
This premium gin is made with rice alcohol distilled with pure water from the Fushimi area, Japanese botanicals such as yellow yuzu from northern Kyoto Prefecture, hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood shavings, bamboo leaf, gyokuro tea from the Uji region and green berries of the sanshō (Japanese peppercorn) Distilled separately in six categories: base, citrus, herbs, spices, flowers and tea.
Transparent and bright color. Fresh aroma of yuzu, and sansho pepper. On the palate slightly citrusy, dry, with a slightly spicy and warm finish.

THE DISTILLERY
The Japanese distillery Kyoto Distillery is owned by Number One Drinks Company Japan. It was founded by Marcin Miller and David Croll, with former Chase and Cotswold distiller Alex Davies as head distiller, in November 2015.
Croll has lived in Japan for over 20 years and for the last 10 years he has worked with Miller which exports Japanese whiskeys all over the world.
The distillery has two copper stills custom made and designed by German manufacturer Christian Carl. Two different sized hybrid stills give the distilling team the ability and flexibility to treat each botanical and each recipe individually, allowing the best flavors and aromas of the carefully selected ingredients to be captured.
Ki No Bi means the beauty of the seasons in Japanese.
