In the East Lothia region, the hectares of barley used for the production of Glenkinchie 12 Years grow. Six wooden casks are still used for fermentation, two made from Oregon pine and four from Canadian larch.

The distillery has two copper stills that are among the largest in the industry and together produce an impressive 1.3 million liters a year. Glenkinchie has always been known for pursuing excellence at all stages of the process.

TASTING NOTE

Color: golden honey.

Nose: light and sweet with barley malt, grass and wisps of autumnal smoke. Firm, light body.

Taste: slightly sweet but fresh, with notes of summer fruits and harvest fields, young wood and malted barley.
