This wine has been present at numerous events, such as the Nobel Prize celebration banquet, on December 10, 2012, in the Blue Hall (Blue Room) of the Stockholm City Hall, at the meal offered to the Queen of England, Elizabeth II, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, which was held on the occasion of its 88th anniversary at Picton Castle, in Wales, among others.
Bright yellow colour. Fresh and intense aromas, with a mixture of sensations of freshly peeled apple, orange peel, pollen and aromatic herbs. Concentrated, powerful on the palate, notes of herbs and candied fruit, complex, tasty and sweet.
Bottle 37.5Cl. 13th
THE CELLAR
JORGE ORDOÑEZ & CO. It was founded in 2004 in Almachar, being the first in this town in the Axarquía, given that the traditional destination of its grapes was the production of raisins. Due to a progressive growth in production, in 2008 the winery began to move its facilities to Vélez-Málaga, where it is currently located.
With the naturally sweet ones, the winery recovers a style of Malaga wine from before the s. XVII, when, with the first exports, the practice of heading the wine was introduced to preserve it from the long journeys by boat. The naturally sweet ones were recognized by the Denomination of Origin Málaga in 1999.
