DO Rioja

Variety: 100% Tempranillo

Wine made with grapes from a single plot located in the municipality of Laguardia, in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa, from the early 20th century with a very low yield, called Malpuesto due to the unique way in which the vines are planted.

Aged for 15 months in new fine-grained French oak.

Bright cherry colour. Aroma of ripe, black and wild fruit. It is structured and broad, with a creamy, earthy touch. Very fruity, with fleshiness. Persistent and complex finish.

Bodega Orben belongs to the Artevino group, which also includes Finca Villacreces (DO Ribera del Duero), Bodegas Vetus (DO Toro) and Bodega Izadi (DO Rioja).
