Dmitri Mendeleev was commissioned by the Russian Government to standardize the quality of Russian vodka in 1894.

After the First World War, during which the production of vodka was interrupted, its production was resumed from 1925. Since then, the recipe has remained unchanged.

This vodka is considered by many to be a medicinal drink, because it is refreshing, and according to experts, it greatly facilitates digestion.
