DO Emporda

Variety: 100% Garnacha Blanca

Made with grapes from vineyards between fifty and sixty years old, born in a stony terroir with boulders.

Pale yellow color with greenish tones. Aromas of fresh fruits and fine spicy notes. On the palate it is balanced, fresh and enveloping. It is a complex wine, long and pleasant as a whole, with a marked varietal personality.

THE CELLAR

In 1923 Miguel Mateu acquired the Perelada Castle after verifying the privileged geoclimatic conditions of the Empordà to begin making his still wines, which were soon joined by sparkling wines.

At the end of the sixties, and at the initiative of Arturo Suqué, Miguel Mateu's son-in-law, the production of sparkling wines began. Two of them, Blanc Pescador and Cresta Rosa, have established themselves among the best-selling wines in our country.

Currently and already in the third generation, they have also opted for the renowned DOC Priorat, with the creation of the new Casa Gran del Siurana project.
