The Numanthia Termes Winery was acquired in 2008 by the multinational Louis Vuitton-Moët Hennessy from the Eguren family, owners among other wineries of Sierra Cantabria and Señorío de San Vicente, in the Rioja qualified designation of origin, and Dominio de Eguren.
It is a small winery in the Toro denomination of origin, whose great treasure is the vineyard between 80 and 100 years old, which is where Numanthia and Termanthia wines come from.
The first vineyards were planted on their land in 1870, and today the property continues to pioneer the revival of toro wines sourced from ancient vineyards.
