DO Ribera del Duero
Varieties: Tempranillo (100%),
Aged for a minimum of 18 months in French oak barrels, it is advisable to open the wine 30 minutes before consumption and decant it.
Ruby color with intense garnet tones, very clean.
On the nose it is finely complex, with tones of ripe fruit, especially cherry, currant, cassis, in harmony with the tones of good wood, spices (vanilla, coconut) and a background of licorice.
On the palate it presents a great balance, with a tasty mid palate, sweet due to the maturity of its tannins and joyful at the same time due to the good acidity it has.
THE CELLAR
The Pago de los Capellanes winery is one of the most emblematic of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. The conservation of 8 walnut trees that were among the vineyard, was the starting point for the construction of this winery in its first phase in 1996, later expanding on 2 occasions.
The quality of its wines are deserving of great recognition, and today they are exported to almost the entire world.
