DO Ribera del Duero

Variety: 100% country ink.

Aged for 14 months in American and French oak barrels, and another 12 in its own bottle. Cherry red color with garnet trim. Aroma of ripe fruit plums, blackberries, notes of aging with spicy tones, with toasted oak. Fruity on the palate, toasted touches, it has a good entry and a good mid palate, smooth, tasty, good acidity, good finish and persistence.

THE PROTOS WINERY

The new Protos winery has been designed by Rogers Stirk Harbor together with Alonso Balaguer and Associated Architects. It has two wineries in the heart of the Ribera del Duero: Peñafiel (Valladolid) and Anguix (Burgos) where its crianza and aged reds are made. His other winery is located in the heart of the Rueda designation of origin: La Seca (Valladolid), where his Verdejo wine is made.
