DO Ribera del Duero

Varieties: 90% Fine Red, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Picota cherry colour. Aromas of ripe red fruits, licorice and oak with hints of roasted and toffee. On the palate, sweet, fresh, with the same notes that we find on the nose.

THE CELLAR

Grupo Artevino is the owner of Bodegas Izadi, Bodegas Orben, Finca Villacreces and Bodegas Vetus.

The Finca Villacreces is located in the municipality of Quintanilla de Onésimo (Valladolid) surrounded by 64 hectares of vineyards and pine trees and located next to the Duero River.

Originally, the farm was a retreat place for clergymen who dedicated themselves to prayer and cultivating the land.

Later it passed into private hands, until in 2004 Gonzalo and Lalo Antón, owners of Bodegas Izadi and Vetus, acquired the winery, and after remodeling and recovering the vineyard, opened it in 2007, being one of the most spectacular of the Ribera del Duero.
