Aged for 24 months in new oak barrels. 80% French, 20% American.

Bright cherry red color, ruby ​​rim, fine and intense tears. Intense, penetrating and complex aroma. Powerful aromas of ripe black fruit with a background of sweet, balsamic and smoky spices. A creamy and enveloping oak is perceived, very integrated with the whole. In the mouth it is powerful, tasty and meaty. It has a smooth entry with a velvety touch and a good balance between fruit and aging. Final with many aromatic memories, from black fruits to fine balsamic notes through toasted and cocoa.

THE CELLAR

Bodegas Remírez de Gamuza , founded in 1989, is located in the center of Samaniego, Álava, the heart of the Rioja Alavesa. Formed by a block of buildings, old mansions of the town, it is made up of modern reinforced concrete structures covered with old ashlar masonry, thus integrating into the traditional local architecture.
