THE CELLAR
The history of Rémy Martin is that of a family, of 5 generations of wine merchants. Despite the ban of 1731, Louis XV granted Rémy Martin an exceptional derogation to plant new vines due to the excellence of his cognacs. Rémy Martin strengthens his collaboration with winegrowers. Two thirds of the vineyards in the Fine Champagne cognac production area are now part of the Alliance Fine Champagne cooperative.
