Origin: Dominican Republic.

Dark amber color, aroma with notes of chocolate, roasted coffee, cinnamon and nuts. On the palate, it is pleasant, soft and with nuances of caramel toffee, wood and licorice. Slightly sweet, persistent finish and a sublime flavor.

THE DISTILLERY

In the mid-19th century, Andrés Brugal Montaner emigrated from Sitges (Catalonia) to Santiago de Chile, where he gained experience in rum manufacturing. Later he decides to move to the Dominican Republic to establish his residence in Puerto Plata. It will be there, where he founded Brugal & Co. in the year 1888. Since then the company has followed at the hands of his descendants. The company is positioned as the third brand in the international rum market and the third brand in the European market, as well as the best-selling golden rum in the Caribbean. In the European market, Spain and Italy are its largest consumers.
