Origin: Barbados
Distilled and bottled in a distillery over 123 years old with a traditional 16th century recipe, created by 16th and 17th century sailors from the West Indies, who blended native Caribbean ingredients into their rum and named it "Bumbu" Truly the original spirit of the craft.
Exceptionally pure water, along with carefully selected sugar cane from across the Caribbean and South America and using the same all-natural native spices and no artificial colors or flavors, the rum is distilled in small batches using two continuous pot stills and aged for A minimum of 15 years in Kentucky bourbon barrels. The yeast used during fermentation is a distillery secret that dates back as far as 1840.
Dark amber colour. Aroma of soft caramel, Madagascar vanilla and toasted oak. The palate is medium-bodied with notes of cinnamon, toasted nuts and allspice, leading to a slightly sweet, smooth finish.
