Don Papa special limited edition rum , made with the best sugar cane and aged for a long 10 years in American oak barrels, and distilled in small batches.
The name Don Papa is in honor of one of the unsung heroes of the Philippine revolution: Dionisio Magbuelas, better known locally as "Papa" Isio.
Dark amber colour. Roasted and almond aromas. On the palate: notes of oak, cocoa, nuts and light vanilla.

THE DISTILLERY
The Bleeding Heart Rum Company distillery is at the foot of the Kanlaon volcano, on the southern island of Negros Occidental (Philippines). It was founded by Stephen Carroll, a former executive of Remy Cointreau, who on one of his trips was impressed by the island and the quality of its sugar cane.
