Kraken Black Spiced rum takes its name from the Kraken, a mythical sea beast with enormous tentacles that according to legend attacked and destroyed a ship carrying abundant rum from the Caribbean islands.

Made in the United States with a mixture of rums from the Caribbean in which it is initially aged between 12 and 14 months in oak barrels. Mixed with 13 exotic spices -among which cinnamon, ginger and cloves stand out- that make up a secret recipe. To achieve its deep dark color, it is colored with caramel.

The design of the bottle that contains this rum is a replica of Victorian rum bottles, with two side handles and in a dark black color inspired by the black of the mysterious ink with which, according to legend, The Kraken, a giant reed that lives in the deep sea, covers its prey.
