TALJSTEN stones are made with natural stone, extracted from Handöl in the province of Jämtland, in Sweden. It is the same stone from the quarry, cut by stonemasons from Sweden, so it is 100% natural.
The ollar stone has unique thermal properties, it absorbs and restores cold or heat. Natural ollar stone has been used by man for thousands of years. The Vikings already used it to make pots and kitchen utensils!
They chill your drink without diluting it. Put one, two, three or four Täljsten Original stones in your whiskey and it will preserve all the richness of its aroma. They allow to lower the temperature of your whiskey from 20 to 10 ºC
Instructions for use : Before using for the first time : Wash and dry the Täljsten Original Whiskey Stones then place in the Cold Pack and place in the freezer for at least two hours before using . When serving a whiskey, put between 2 and 4 stones in a glass and then pour the drink (the order must be respected). The drink will cool without water dilution. For 4cl of whisky, the drop in temperature is 2.5°C per stone. Täljsten Original whiskey stones can be washed in the dishwasher after use.
Along with the box with the stones, a Cold Pack food bag is supplied, free of phthalates and bisphenol A, which allows them to be stored in the freezer.

Rolf Berggrund, in 1987, took over production and product development at the natural stone factory in Handöl, on the slopes of the Jämtland massifs.
His wife, Marianne, discovered that natural ollar stone stored both heat and cold. It was then that the brilliant idea of making "ice" cubes occurred to him.
Your company makes home furnishings such as countertops, benches, and tables. The company has developed a lot in this niche market and currently enjoys a solid reputation among a mainly Swedish clientele.
Marianne and Rolf retired in 2009 and Erik then took over the reins of the company.
