Vecchio Amaro del Capo is a herbal liqueur made from an ancient recipe based on twenty-nine herbs, flowers, fruits and roots from the land of the Calabria region (Italy).
Each of the herbs used to produce Vecchio Amaro del Capo has a specific harvest period. For this reason, they are collected one by one throughout the year.
Among the 29 medicinal herbs that make up the infusion we highlight for their tonic-digestive properties, some very popular in Calabria such as bitter orange, sweet orange, licorice, mandarin, chamomile and juniper.
All macerations and infusions are carried out immediately, at the time of collection, to capture the freshest aromas and to keep the organoleptic properties of each ingredient intact.
It owes its name to a location not far from the distillery's headquarters, Capo Vaticano.
