The Yzaguirre Blanco Vermouth belongs to one of the most prestigious wineries in the elaboration of these drinks in Spain, it is Bodegas Yzaguirre , which was founded in the year 1884 in Reus, Catalonia, its purpose is to follow the guidelines of the old vermouth distilleries of the Alps.
The production process of Yzaguirre Blanco vermouth is carried out through a 2-month maceration process, preserving its special recipe made up of more than 80 herbs and various spices. Regarding its maturation, this is carried out in two different types of containers, for the first three times the oak bocoyes are used and for the remaining two months the stainless steel one.
In tasting it presents us with a pale yellow color with all golden, as for its aroma it is of balsamic fruits such as peaches, apricots, together with herbs and spices such as rosemary and thyme. As for its flavor, the notes of wood and herbs stand out with notes of vanilla and cinnamon to give an intense and long somewhat bitter finish.
