Varieties: Garnacha and Tempranillo

XIII Lunas 2013 is a modern and easy-drinking wine, made in Rioja Alta.

Aged for 12 months in 225-liter barrels of French and American wood.

Ruby red color with vermilion reflections, bright. Well integrated aromas of aging in barrels with fresh notes of red fruits. On the palate it is fresh, fruity, harmonious and silky, with a delicate and elegant tannic structure.

THE CELLAR

Bodegas Fin de Siglo has been part of the Peralada Group since the beginning of 2014.

It was established in 1999 at the initiative of a small group of families of vine-growers, winemakers of several generations, from the municipality of Arenzana de Abajo in the Yalde Valley, in the Nájera sub-region, Rioja Alta region.

The winery has 45 hectares of its own plus another ten over which it exercises absolute control. They grow both red (Garnacha, Tempranillo, Mazuelo) and white (Viura, Malvasía) varieties, all of them native to the DOCa Rioja.

It should be noted that an important part of the vineyards are very old, with Garnachas of 80 and even more than 100 years.
